TradeIntel Research is the desk behind the screeners, the market sentiment readings and the articles on this site. It exists to do one thing: turn published market data into rules a South African retail investor can actually check, rather than opinions they have to take on trust.
Four rules the desk holds to.
Rules before opinions
Every screen is a fixed, published rule applied identically to every stock in the universe. A filter either passes or it does not. Nothing is discretionary, and no company is included or excluded because someone at the desk liked the story.
The same output for everyone
Every subscriber in a tier sees exactly the same screens, the same sentiment readings and the same dashboards. Nothing is tailored to an individual, which is what keeps this general information rather than advice.
Published methodology
The models are documented on the research page, down to the academic and practitioner work each one draws on. Specific parameters are proprietary; the logic is not hidden.
Stated limits
A screen tells you a stock passed a test. It does not tell you the business is sound, the price is right, or the timing is good. Where a model misleads, the articles say so explicitly.

Price and fundamental data
Daily price history back to 2015 and company fundamentals for roughly 600 JSE and US listed companies, refreshed on a scheduled pipeline.
Macroeconomic data
Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) for the 11 indicators behind the recession overlay. All of it free and public.
Disclosure filings
Public congressional and corporate insider trade disclosures for the tracker.
