TradeIntel (tradeintel.co.za) is the responsible party for the personal information processed through this service. For any privacy request, email support@tradeintel.co.za.

• Account data: your email address and authentication details.
• Subscription data: your plan, status, and billing events. Card details are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: the pages and features you use, your alert preferences, and basic technical data (such as device/browser and log information) needed to run and secure the service.
• Messaging identifiers: if you connect Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID so we can deliver alerts you have requested.

• To provide the service — accounts, dashboards, and the alerts you opt into.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To send service and account communications, and the alerts you enable.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the service, and to meet legal obligations.

We process your information to perform our contract with you, to meet legal duties, and for our legitimate interest in running the service. We do not use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted processors that help us run the service, under appropriate safeguards:

• Whop — payment processing and recurring billing.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your account data.
• Resend — sending email alerts and account emails.
• Telegram — delivering alerts, if you connect it.

Some processors may store data outside South Africa; where they do, we rely on their safeguards for cross-border transfers. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for any period required to meet legal, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time (subject to records we must keep by law).

Under POPIA you may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for optional communications. To exercise these rights, email support@tradeintel.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you of a material breach as required by law.
