TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2026

The Group is finalising its financial results for the year ended 30 September 2026, which
are expected to be released on or about Thursday, 26 November 2026.

In terms of section 6.26 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), a
company must publish a trading statement once it is satisfied that a reasonable degree
of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on next will
differ by at least 20% from the financial results reported in the comparative period.

The Group has reasonable certainty that, for the year ended 30 September 2026:

    • earnings per share ("EPS") is expected to be between 815 cents and 870 cents,
an increase of between 45% and 55% from the 562.4 cents reported for the
        comparative period; and
    • headline earnings per share ("HEPS") is expected to be between 825 cents and
880 cents, an increase of between 46% and 56% from the 564.8 cents reported
        for the comparative period.

The expected increase in earnings is primarily attributable to higher operating profit
and lower interest costs. Operating profit improved on stronger performances from
the fishmeal and fish oil (USA) and Wild caught seafood segments, driven by higher
volumes and improved pricing, and a solid contribution from Lucky Star foods
despite limited inventory. These gains more than offset weaker results from the
Africa fishmeal and fish oil segment.

The financial information and any forward-looking statements in this announcement
have not been reviewed or reported on by the Group's auditors.
